user posted imageЗеленая падальная муха (Lucilia caesar). Является одним из основных утилизаторов трупов. К. Линней сказал, что "три мухи могут уничтожить труп лошади с такой же скоростью, как лев". Несколько преувеличено, но действительно: через несколько дней труп начинает кишеть личинками этих мух. Личинки быстро разжижают ткани трупа и способствуют его дальнейшему разрушению и подсыханию.

Зачем же ассоциировать этот цвет с мухой? Можно сравнить с красивой бронзовкой например.

Большинство моих знакомых неэнтомологов не знают кто такие бронзовки, а вот как помойная муха выглядит знают все! lol.gif

Говорю по памяти, но если не путаю - то это вроде не caesar. Помниться у caesar на среднеспинке по центру имеются только две пары щетинок (акростихальные щетинки). А тут очевидно три.
Ура! Добрался до книги. Все правильно. Хорошо бы эту мух у конечно покрутить, но по ощущениям это Lucilia sericata

Я конечно не профессионал, а любитель. Но худо-бедно частично и диптеролог. У веряю Вас - диптерологи милые, добрые и безобидные люди.

Это не Lucilia caesar. У Lucilia caesar на среднеспинке позади поперечного шва две щетинки ac. А на фото три.
Если точно до вида, то хорошо бы еще несколько фото.
А лучше бы конечно покрутить в руках экземпляр...

Фото есть несколько, но ракурс тот же, ну а сам экземпляр улетел давно smile.gif
