Довольно редко весной встречаю этот странный гриб. Я его определил как Sarcosoma globosum. Настоящий экземпляр сфотографирован 5 мая 2005 года в Волоколамском районе Московской области. Специалисты, пожалуйста, подтвердите или опровергните диагноз.

Да, этот гриб точно к пецициевым относится. Скорее всего саркосома шаровидная.

During information searching about Sarcosoma globosum I found photo on
your site. I think this fungi aren´t Sarcosoma, but Urnula craterium - it is my
idea only.

Все просто, если внутри находилась некоторая желеобразная мякоть, а судя по всему так и есть, хотя надо у автора спросить, тогда это Саркосома шаровидная - Sarcosoma globosum, а если плодовые теля были бокаловидными с пустотой внутри, тогда это урнула. Маленькая поправка: не гастеромицеты, а аскомицеты.
