думаю это неплохой индикатор тенденций слияния мировой науки и бизнеса, от фундамета к коммерческому продукту в клиники и лаборатории.
+ учиться полезно (кому это надо) - как лучше не делать, а как надо..

начну с пары новостей, которые мне показались интересными -

Небезызвестная калифорнийская StemCells Inc сегодня заявила, что начинает 1-ю фазу клинки испытаний нейральных СК при Batten disease (наследственное дегенеративное заболевание у детей). Интересно, что протокол пока не одобрен FDA, но компания уверена что получит разрешение очень быстро.
Если всё получится, то это будет первое подобное испытание на людях, одобренное FDA
Непонятно (для меня) откуда они выделяют НСК?? Уж не из эмбрионов ли?
очевидно, что это будут человеческие клетки, возможно взятые от трупов (метод Gage).
