Z потенциал vs плотность поверхностного заряда

Скажите мне, это одно и тоже или они отличаются? Просто есть 2 статьи, в одной говорят Z фигня и ни на что не влияет, в другой статье говорят: плотность пов заряда ну просто пипец как важна. Толи эти понятия несут разный смысл, толи статьи противоречат?

Z-потенциал - это потенциал электрического поля на границе между слоем ионов, которые прочно связаны с заряженной поверхностью (т.е. движутся вместе с ней) и диффузионным слоем. Теоретически зависимость Z-потенциала от плотности поверхностного заряда можно получить из уравнения Дебая-Гюккеля, которое и служит для вычисления потенциала в зависимости от расстояния от заряженной поверхности. Но стоит обратить внимание, что толщина обозначенного выше "слоя ионов, который прочно связан с заряженной поверхностью" зависит и от неэлектрических сил. Например, если поверхность коллоидной частицы покрыта молекулами полимера, то, разумеется, граница между слоями будет отстоять дальше от поверхности. На практике Z-потенциал вычисляют исходя из подвижности коллоидных частиц в электрическом поле. Обо всем этом хорошо написано, например, у W. Norde, Colloids and Interfaces in Life Sciences.

plotter - очень жаль. Если Вы читаете статью, то надо понимать, что в ней написано и вначале пытаться разобраться самому. Иначе Вы задаете тупые вопросы.
По-русски называется дзета-потенциал, z potential in English, которого Вы не знаете.
