My name is Vesela Radeva. I'm PhD student,Dept. "Plant Physiology and Molecular Biology", University of Plovdiv "Paisii Hilendarski", Bulgaria.
Is there anybody who knows how to sterilise Basta herbicide for adding it to Murashige and Skoog medium? Is the autoclavating appropriate in this case? The active component of the herbicide is Phosphinotrycine (PPT). I use it for detection of transgenic Arabidopsis plants.

I do not now it exactly, but I now that sientists of our laboratory work with Basta (Timiryazev Institute of Plant Physiology). (I do not remember their e-mail, excuse me, their chief --- Dolgikh Yulia Ivanovna, Laboratory of genetic and selection of cell culture). So, or Basta is not autoclaved, or is autoclaved with 0,7-0,8 atm 15 min+15 min (I do not now, what exactly means 15 min+15 min, it is standard regime). I cannot give now more precise information, excuse me.
